Engineering Administrator Job Spec

The Engineering Administrator will report directly to the Engineering, Facilities and IT Infrastructure Manager and will be in charge of the following:

  • Follow-up of the stock of spare parts for the 4 manufacturing sites in the UK.
  • Administrative tasks related to Engineering and Facilities (purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice follow-ups, new vendor requests…).
  • Fault logging with third-party maintainers, follow-up and ensuring resolutions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Establishment of a Preventive Planned maintenance calendar for critical equipment.
  • Elaboration of Procedure for Production and Engineers.
  • Collaboration to work on the Production layout.

 

Skills / Qualifications

  • Minimum of A-Level or equivalent.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience preferably in a Manufacturing / Industrial background.
  • General Mechanical knowledge is desirable.
  • ERP/MRP experience is desirable.
  • Organised and reliable
  • Problem solver focused with a willingness to help others.
  • Perseverance and tenacity to reach objectives.

Location: Onsite at Daler-Rowney Bracknell, Berkshire. Also, occasional travel to Middlewich (Cheshire) and Dudley (Midlands).
