Goldfinger Paint and Varnish
Daler-Rowney Goldﬁnger is an all-purpose, rub-on metallic paste available in ﬁve ﬁnishes. It can be used for anything from the restoration of antiques to gilding picture frames. To preserve the lustre, Goldﬁnger can be treated with Goldﬁnger Varnish. Goldfinger can also be used in a mixed-media approach, as an oil paint.

Goldfinger can be used on a variety of surfaces in addition to wood however the drying behaviour will ultimately depend on the surface in question and its use in conjunction with Goldfinger Varnish may be required. We recommended small tests prior to commencing major projects.

Easy to use, Goldfinger can simply be applied with a soft cloth or ﬁnger and after a short time can be buffed to a ﬁne lustre. It produces a really professional ﬁnish with no signs of metallic particles or smears. For intricate work, Goldﬁnger can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine and used with a brush. To preserve the lustre, Goldﬁnger can be treated with Goldﬁnger Varnish. Daler-Rowney Goldﬁnger Varnish effectively protects the lustre of decorative metallic furniture and metallic picture frames.
