How to Paint Christmas Jumpers with Gouache Paints
Learn how to paint Christmas jumpers with Simply Gouache Paint by using this step-by-step guide created by Daler-Rowney artist Amylee Paris, and is easy for beginners to follow and explore using gouache paint!
The materials in your kit
Please use
1 x Glass of Water
1 x Kitchen Roll
Your step by step guide
Then take a blank sheet of paper and use a graphite pencil to draw the shape of a jumper in the middle of the paper. With a pair of scissors cut out the outline.
Using the shape of the jumper, draw the outlines on the dry painted paper.
Following the graphite pencil outlines, cut out the jumper.
Cut out decorative ornaments from the coloured paper scraps then add them to the jumper. Use a glue stick to attach an ornament to each jumper.
Using the markers, create additional patterns to give the jumper a more knitted look.
To make the jumper hanger, take some wire, bend it and tape it to the back of the jumper.
Et voilà, each jumper has its own hanger, all that's left is to find a Christmas tree branch to hang them on!
