The materials in your kit

Several Simply Coloured Pencils
2 x Simply Oil Pastel Sticks - Black and White
Simply A5 Pastel Paper Sheets 
1 x Simply Black Fine Liner

Your step by step guide

Step 1
Drawing Outlines

Using the black fine liner, draw a fabulous gonk. You can reproduce the design from this tutorial or create another one.

Orange Sections

Use the orange coloured pencil to colour all the parts following the demonstration. For a nice effect, you can colour in circles next to each other.

Blue and Yellow Sections

Using the yellow and blue coloured pencils to fill in the remaining parts of the gonk's clothing. The bell at the end of his cap is also yellow!

The Gonk’s beard

Next, take the oil pastel sticks to continue the drawing. At the ends of the beard and moustache apply black oil pastel and then come over with white oil pastel to create a hairy effect!

Use a red pencil to colour the skin. With a gradient effect on the nose and fingers, you give a more natural look!
