Why do a travel journal?
It’s a great way to relax while travelling and keep your precious memory alive after the trip.
What to take for a travel journal?
Keep your kit simple and light. Kasia recommends watercolours, a mixed media sketchbook with hardcover, sketching and watercolour pencils, a few brushes, and a container or spray for water.
What to paint?
When you find the right spot has a seed and paint what you see. You can spice things up by collecting entry tickets, flyers or stickers to spice things up. It is a good practice and fun to have a page per day. Most important enjoy your travel and the art journey.
"Wanderlust Extras" is a series of bite-sized chunks of the year-long online class called "Wanderlust" and produced by Everything Art. You can still join our mixed-media journey! Learn more here: http://www.everything-art.com.
