Mixed Media up the wall!

We had the pleasure and honour to welcome Italian street artist Pepe Gaka to our Daler-Rowney Headquarters in Bracknell for a week.

Besides some artist's visits, the manufacturing tour and input to the recent products in development, Pepe was planning to leave his mark in our logistic centre.

Under the motto “creativity” he was working on sketches for the mural to be created, but we didn’t make it that easy for him.

Is it possible to implement all our colour categories in one mural? Impossible!

That’s what we thought…Pepe took the challenge on and painted in the indoor mural all our main colour categories:

  • Acrylics, with a full-colour chart of System3 (Octopus)
  • Oil and Mater Mixable Oil (Sun)
  • Markers and Inks (Girl)
  • Watercolour and Gouache (Flowers)
  • Pencils, Coloured Pencil and Pastels (Flowers)

The result is mind-blowing, and all our employees and visitors appreciate it every time they walk past it. We say a massive thank you to our global Ambassador Pepe Gaka for the wonderful cooperation over the last 5 years all around the Globe and can’t wait to welcome him soon again at Daler-Rowney Headquarters.
