I would like to give a huge thank you to Daler-Rowney for supplying our charity with a pallet of art supplies. My name is Steve Rodgers, and I work for PACT (Parents And Children Together), an adoption and trauma support charity based in Reading. The connection between art and healing is so powerful and it has been wonderful to see our service users so engaged. I am delighted to share with you some of the results of their creativity. The below quotes are from senior staff members who work in our Alana House team, a women-only centre which supports and empowers women, and our Adoptee Voices programme, a space for young people to safely discuss their personal or significant experiences. Earlier this year they ran a session titled ‘Express Yourself Through Art’, made possible thanks to Daler-Rowney.
