Frida Kahlo mural by Michael Corr

Scottish Michael Corr travelled in the USA for the "Alt Summit 2019" conference in Palm Springs to make his mark for women influencers and entrepreneurs.

Equipped with his artistic weapon of choice System3 Acrylic, he created this out-standing piece of art of Frida Kahlo in a weeks’ time. The artwork is created on plywood to make it movable depending on the occasion.

Michael Corr is an award-winning contemporary painter and mural artist, who is based at his garden studio space in Alloa, Scotland.

His work centres around portrait painting with an emphasis on colour and spontaneous mark making. Graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design (Dundee), Corr’s formal training as a Graphic Designer along with a primary interest in expressive art, have developed into a uniquely powerful style of painting and drawing.

Corr’s work has been featured in both group and solo exhibitions across Scotland. His work has private collectors in the UK and internationally. You can currently find his large scale mural work around Scotland and the US.
