Beyond Addiction Mural

Visit the “Beyond Addiction” mural by the community project “Child Of” at the Saatchi Gallery, on the 3rd floor and help to raise awareness for addiction and support the people and families directly affected by it through the whole of March.

The aim of the artwork is to give people suffering from addiction as well as their families a voice. The mural explores addiction and recovery in a contemporary way through art without judgment. Incorporated quotes on “Beyond Addiction” display the thoughts and journeys of people affected by addiction, either that of their own or a family member and were selected with the involved charities and community projects.

Artists Carl Cashman, Justar Misdemeanor, Ellen Williams, and James Howe were supporting throughout the whole project. They not only contributed their signature marks, but they also shared their personal stories as affected people.

The “Beyond Addiction” mural is the latest art activism collaboration with Child Of and Daler-Rowney, created with System3 Acrylic. Daler-Rowney is proud to take part in this action and to support addicts in recovery and their families through art.

Keep an eye out on this page and our socials for exclusive content with the artists and organisations involved.
