Terri Bingham
Terri Bingham is a self-taught abstract artist in Kent. Art has always been a huge passion of hers and she can always be found in her home studio, losing herself in her work. Originally she studied fine art of the human body, Terri later found a love for the abstract and sometimes she combines the two. Taking on inspiration from natural elements and raw materials, Terri reflects this in her work using vibrant colours, a range of mediums and techniques. Acrylic pours being one of these, representing the embodiment of water. She also produces textured works, using a plaster and gesso mix to create a river's embankment. Art with an edge, such as her most recent works, Resin Rivers Collection can be found hanging on some walls of her local, quaint taverns, who support artists all over Kent. Terri paints on large scale canvases and paper and has even been known to re-use old plywood which has been discarded. Not one to paint one artwork at a time, Terri will alternate between two or more projects, her ideas constantly inspiring the next.
