Jessica Mallorie

British born artist Jessica Mallorie has worked as an Abstract Landscape Artist since graduating from Leeds Metropolitan University. Her work is mainly oil on canvas. Working with fluid paints has been a constant throughout her career with many of her large and impressive landscape paintings containing a mix of both fluid techniques, palette knife and brushes strokes. Jessica gains inspiration for her work both through travel and through looking closely at the simple play of light on water, rock and land. Heading back to the studio to produce her work. Many of her paintings are very large expressive pieces. Her work is concerned with the play between the impermanent fleeting nature of life alongside the permanent nature of land. Jessica lives and works in Leamington Spa.
