Behind my abstract art lies a lifetime of experiences, emotions, and hidden stories waiting to be uncovered. As an artist from Sweden, my work is deeply rooted in the shifting landscapes of nature, yet it also delves into the layers of human emotion. My paintings explore what lies beneath the surface, inviting the viewer into a conversation about the unseen and the felt. The process of creation is as important to me as the finished piece. I draw inspiration from neurodesign, reflecting how emotions shape our internal and external worlds. Through sculptural impasto layers and delicate strokes, I weave together elements of the past, present, and future. Each painting becomes a journey—a dialogue between texture, form, and emotion. Writing also plays a vital role in my practice. I often compose poems to accompany my works, capturing the essence of the feeling or story I’m expressing. This adds another dimension for viewers to connect with. I’m continually inspired by the dialogue my art provokes. The diverse interpretations and reflections people share with me keep my creativity alive and push me to evolve. I rely on Daler-Rowney’s materials for their richness and versatility, allowing me to bring my vision to life through texture, depth, and emotion. My art evolves with every layer of paint, transforming the canvas into something dynamic and alive.
