Dave Fortune

Dave Fortune, Visiting Lecturer UWE, Creative Arts. Having worked at UWE Creative Arts for many years his interest in screen printing (serigraphy) and editioning of all sorts of multi-colour imagery is extensive. He has lectured in the USA, Australia, Oslo Norway and many summer schools and workshops in the UK. "I now have a studio (Studio Giuggiolo) in Siena, Italy from which I organise and run screenprinting summer schools and workshops for teachers and students. I have worked, over the years with Daler-Rowney, from the early days of 'System3 Acrylic' and additives being used for screenprinting. This non-toxic screen printing mixture of 'Screen Printing Medium' + 'System3 Acrylic' gives great coverage, with a large range of colours. Also a premixed 'System3 Acrylic 50/50' which is ready to print straight from the bottle... brilliant for education!" I extensively work from my studio in Siena running workshops and summer schools.
