The Daler-Rowney iPhone app is an important and fun addition to Daler-Rowney’s family of products. We have arrived in the era of communication on the go and the world of the app, which is why Daler-Rowney wants to give artists easy access to information, video demonstrations and inspirational painting resources to help and entertain them in their artistic endeavours, wherever they might be.

 

The brain-child of Richard Collins artist and Director of Milestone Design, the Daler-Rowney app links artists to informational and inspirational painting resources. Offering four options: browse the colour range of System 3 Acrylics, watch instructional videos on painting with System 3 Original and System 3 Heavy Body Acrylics, view hint and tip articles and, the cherry on the cake, create your own works of art with a unique System 3 painting tool!

 

The painting tool has variable brush widths and a unique and easy to use colour palette of System 3 Acrylic Colours. Choose from a selection of backgrounds including canvas, metal or wood and simply layer on your System 3 colours. Mistakes can be corrected with an eraser tool or the undo option. The painting tool will prove useful either in the studio or the office for artists or graphic designers wishing to sketch up ideas whilst in a meeting or on the go. Use the painting tool to entertain yourself or your kids on long journeys or for just some downtime and creative play.

 

Projects created on the painting tool can be emailed quickly to anyone using the e-mail option, saved to your photos or sent to Daler-Rowney to enter into a monthly prize draw. Each month a winner will be chosen at random from the iPhone app entries and receive free Daler-Rowney art materials.
