For those brave enough to climb it, this narrow ridge is the last section of the ascent before a climber can say they have summited the Mont Blanc. Due to its height, it often sits above the clouds, where there are extremes of both sunlight and shadow. This painting is oil on canvas, 90cm x 70cm done using palette knives
