Simply Simmons is a line of quality brushes for students, amateurs and professionals made in the Daler-Rowney factory in the Dominican Republic. This highly successful range of brushes enjoys one of the most extensive distributions throughout North America, both in chain stores and traditional retailers.

The name Simply Simmons comes from the original brand Robert Simmons, without the lifetime guarantee, yet offering superior quality at a single price point. These brushes are easily recognisable in every store thanks to their shiny black ferrule and striking pearlescent white handle.

This original line includes 72 brushes sold individually and a range of 24 brush sets with inspirational names such as “Devilish Details” or “Furs & Feathers”.

Due to the wide success of this range, in 2010 the line was extended with an additional 36 long-handle brushes and 6 sets with a mix of synthetic hair and natural Chungking bristle, specifically designed for oil painting.

Pursuing the success of this line, Spring 2011 saw the extension of Simply Simmons to watercolour with a beautiful range of an additional 36 brushes and 6 sets in natural hair (Pony, White Goat, Black Goat and specially constructed synthetic mix) to suit the demanding techniques of watercolour artists.

With these successful line extensions, the Simply Simmons brush range now includes 144 individual brushes (72 short handle for acrylic & multimedia, 36 long handle for oil & acrylic and 36 short handle for watercolour) and 36 sets.
