When the decision to create a smartphone app was taken, we only had the budget to cover the cost to build an app for one platform as each system is very different from the rest and hence there is no shared cost in creating the same app for more than one platform. The decision was taken to create an app for the iPhone as at that point, the iPhone was by far the most dominant smartphone for apps. I know that since then there are many more smartphones on the market that are continuously clawing back market share from Apple, however, at this point in time we do not have the budget to create another smartphone app for a different platform. Our decision is to focus our efforts on the app we already have and aim to develop this one further during the coming year. I am very sorry that you are unable to use our app as you are on a different platform, and perhaps in the future we will be able to cover everyone’s needs, however, at the moment we do not have the resources to do so I am afraid.
