Glaze Medium - Matt

I have a tube of Daler-Rowney Glaze Medium (Matt). The 'Directions for use' on the tube says 'Use straight from the tube on a dark surface for bare [sic] and texture.' I assume this is a misprint; what should it say ??
Thanks

Hi, On the back of the new

Hi, On the back of the new tubes it reads 'Mix with cryla or system 3 colour to increase transparency and flow, or to produce a fine glaze. Overglaze as required without fear of cracking. Add to powder colours, poster colours and gouache to increase the flexibility of the colour film and to give some water resistance.'
Hope that helps.
