The Real Van Gogh Exhibition at Royal Academy of Arts
The Real Van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters exhibition from 23 January to 18 April 2010 at the Royal Academy of Arts, London
The Royal Academy of Arts is currently displaying the exhibition The Real Van Gogh: The Artist and His Letters, which showcases 35 original letters along with paintings and drawings reflecting the themes of his correspondence. This is the first Van Gogh exhibition in London for over 40 years, which offers a rare insight into the famous artist's mind and work.
This exhibition provides a unique glimpse into the life, work and passions of the famous Post-Impressionist figure Vincent Van Gogh (1853-1890) in a way that has never been seen before.
So far the exhibition has been a huge success, with larger visitor figures that expected, which promise that the popularity of the exhibition will last until it finishes in April this year.
