Mill Operators - Mill Room Job Spec

We currently have vacancies for Mill Operators within the Mill Room department, based in Production at our Bracknell site.

Key Responsibilities

  • The role involves preparing and setting the triple roll mills, scooping paint onto the mills, and making sure the end product meets all the Quality Control criteria before it is transferred to the Filling department.
  • This is a very skilled position that requires attention to detail and the ability to follow strict processes.
  • As an operator, you will be working with different types of paints such as Oils, Acrylics and Water Colours.
  • Quality Control is an important requisite to the role. And you will be working closely with the Laboratory.
  • The ability to work independently is required along with a clear understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
  • This position does not require experience in the paint industry, however, exposure to a Factory environment would be an advantage.
  • All applicants must be able to read, follow and understand policies, procedures, and work instructions.

There will be 4 weeks of in-house training.

The hours of work are Monday-Thursday 07.30-16.00 and Friday 07.30-13.00. There will be an opportunity to work overtime which is paid at time and a half of the hourly rate.
