Education Art & Crafts Junior Product Manager

You are confident in a product manager role; working on various projects, new product development, maintenance and update of existing lines, and management of your product's lifecycle. You will be managing over 1,000 SKUs for different educational arts & crafts brands. You will be a critical thinker who is dynamic and positive; your ideas and initiatives will contribute to the success of our brands, the team, the company and the F.I.L.A. Group. Excellent organisational skills, a great ability to multi-task and work to deadlines are critical to the role.

A background in art, craft and educational supplies would be preferable. You would constantly strive to provide good service, listen to customers’ suggestions/feedback and pass them on to the relevant departments. You will be an ambassador of our brands worldwide (presence in 150 countries).


As a Education Art & Crafts Junior Product Manager, the scope of this role includes, but is not limited to, the duties described below:
  • Becoming an expert in the category and bringing relevant information and support to the executive team.
  • Developing products, packaging, and samples to support sales and differentiate products within the education sector.
  • Developing and orchestrating the rollout of promotional campaigns to grow sales and market share, ensuring that they are consistent with the brand strategy.
  • Monitoring and evaluating competitor activity to identify gaps and opportunities for growth.
  • Forecasting.
  • Providing input and executing agreed market strategies.
  • Developing product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Improving category performance and growing market share by implementing a performance review every 2 weeks.
  • Working closely with all teams to provide training and support for digital activities. You are responsible for the visibility of your products offline and online.
  • Working closely with the sales team to develop and grow the business.
  • Feeding the marketing and sales team with local information from markets, competition, promotion, prices, and possible needs.
  • Working cross-functionally, liaising with sales, trade marketing executives, communication managers, customer service, supply chain, procurement, logistics and production teams.
  • Creating buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Working with strategic partners to optimise their product offerings.
  • Elaborating market, segment, account/customer analysis and evaluation. Understanding market conditions to assess opportunities for growth. 
  • Setting up products and maintaining systems.
  • Creating sales tools and sales presentations and communicating them to the market.
  • Meeting customers and delivering impactful insights & analysis
  • Attending shows in the UK and abroad.
