Submitted by Gail Williams Created on:Tuesday, September 11, 2012 - 9:02amThis hanging work is called "Painting Suspended." and comprises paint and frame but with no canvas - both the front of the painting and the side where the paint usually meets the canvas can be seen. The sculpture is called "Painting, Suspended.", the normal role of paint, lying flat on a support has been suspended and the painting stands alone, occupying three dimensional space. This item was displayed in the UCA Summer Exhibition 2012 and was created using System-3 acrylic paint
