I purchased a painting it is a painting of whitby similar to Atkinson grimshaws but by a J Moore .It is a painting of "The Alert" a photograph by sutcliffe .
I think it may be around 30 years old ?? Im trying to find out more reagrds age and artist .
It has on the rear canvas a stamp - george Rowney & co ltd i think "hackney london".

Any help with the date appreciated.
