Dad and son at beach pencil portrait by Mike Theuer

This commissioned drawing is 8x14" in size. i added or 'made up' about 1/3 of the ocean on the right to give a stronger feel of the waves. Drawn with a 4B pencil only. It took me about 55". I used a kneaded eraser and no blending. This drawing, like all of my portraits are rough around the edges.
