Can I Airbrush With Diluted System 3?

I was wondering if I could dilute my system 3 white down to make a bulk load of white for airbrushing...

I'm trying to get the right dilution ratio with deionised water I've read ratios between 1:1 and 30:1 I'm getting confused and soggy!!!

Can anyone tell me first IF this is suitable, or if I just have to keep buying the FW pots, and if acrylic paint is acrylic paint, then what ratio do i use?

And has anyone ever heard of the old wives tale of using Windex (Windowlean) as a dilutant giving better spray performance?

Thanks in advance

Can I Airbrush With Diluted System 3?

Hi James,

System 3 Original colours can be thinned one to one with tap water for airbrush use. Add the water gradually with stirring. The ink should have a milky consistency. A small amount of our Acrylic Flow Enhancer will help thin the System 3.

On standing, the ink may thicken slightly. If so more water can be added. Keep in clean sealed containers and stir gently before use.

Kind regards,
