Breaking caps on Oil Paint.

I discovered Daler-Rowney oil paints during a search for Georgian Scarlett Lake after reading about it in a book. I now have several tubes of Georgian oils (2.5) and love the colors. However, the "hat" caps have broken on half a dozen of the tubes and duct tape is just not cutting it. My Buff Titanium has dried up and my Scarlett Lake and Rose Madder are leaking through their baggies. It would be nice if the tubes just had nice, little, flat caps. I have e-mailed a couple of times, and received one reply. I lost that reply in a computer crash so I am starting at square one.

Breaking caps on Oil Paint

Hi,

We are aware of this problem of breaking caps and have fixed it. Unfortunately some bad caps (the ones which went to distribution before we noticed this problem) are still on the market, but we are happy to supply new caps to everyone who had troubles.
Please send us an email again with your name and address and explaining that your caps are broken. Do not forget to precise again what tubes they are and if the tube has dried out.

Here is the address to send the emails:
webmaster@daler-rowney.com

Kind regards,
Daler-Rowney
