    TANGERINE DREAM was a study in the Art Nouveau style that was famous in the late 1800's and died out as early as 1920. I wanted to show how sensuous art and unique design, mixed with popular colors from a century ago, could produce a timeless treasure.

    WHITE MAGIC depicts a new style I am developing using strictly Daler-Rowney Artist Watercolor. I mixed the realism of a subject with a semi-abstract background and refections.
    The color combinations work well to create movement in the composition.

    It was created with acrylics for the rough layout, watercolor for a middle tone, and gouache for the final layers.
